Calgary

Drove a sweet 4′ x 4′ x 9′ cargo van to Calgary. Helping Michelle get her stuff out of storage. A storage facility that was 5′ x 5′ x 10′ by the way. You do the math. Just saying.

Halloween

Here’s my Halloween costume for the year. Sweet zombie action. 4 layers of liquid latex and some toilet paper. For tearing effects.

Acoustic

The holidays are almost over.  It actually physically hurt me to type that just now. I’m not kidding, my heart actually hurt.  The last two weeks have gone by in the blink of an eye and even though I don’t have to go back for another four days, I currently have a “feels like Sunday evening” taste in my mouth.  I’ve really enjoyed spending time with old friends who have moved on to other cities.  It’s always comforting to know that I’ll get to see many of them during the holiday season.  Pints at the Yard, Boxing Day at Lyds, shows at Amigos.  Ah well, I’m rambling…

I just wanted to post a picture of my new girl.  She’s lovely isn’t she?  You should hear her sing.

Book Shelf

This thing just about killed me.  I consider myself a moderatelty handy person, but when you have a few hundred bolts, screws, and wooden pegs, more than three pages of instructions would be nice.  Plus, all the wooden pieces were supposed to be numbered, which they were not.

Pay no mind to the nerdy books.

Christmas dinner!

Yay! This year we decided that we were sick and tired if having turkey or ham for Christmas dinner. This year we figured we would have seafood. We picked up huge pieces of crab, shrimp, scallops and lobster. My mom made some fantastic traditional salads. It was a huge success and one of the nicest Christmas dinners I’ve had.

Mom and dad.

I haven’t seen my dad that excited about dinner in a long time.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

I will be here in 11 days.
