Happy birthday to my mom, who received this sweet-assed laptop from her awesome family. Her birthday was actually in November but I forgot to hit publish and it saved this post as a draft. I know I know, bush league.

Drove a sweet 4′ x 4′ x 9′ cargo van to Calgary. Helping Michelle get her stuff out of storage. A storage facility that was 5′ x 5′ x 10′ by the way. You do the math. Just saying.

Here’s my Halloween costume for the year. Sweet zombie action. 4 layers of liquid latex and some toilet paper. For tearing effects.

This was the first real snowfall of the year. This was like 4 weeks ago. Ballz

Wordpress 2.0 is out for the iPhone. Maybe I’ll blog some more. Maybe.

Replaced the 1st Gen iPhone with a new 3GS. Very pleased. Look at it. The box is almost glowing. That’s how much more awesome it is.

Yah! Finally found Funeral on vinyl.. Great album and one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen.  If you don’t have this album, you hate puppies and kittens, and that’s just weird.

I used to hate Rush,  I still kind of do.  I used to argue with older folk about how terrible they were.  These facts did not escape me as I made my way to the counter to purchase this album..  Was this in fact the exact moment I became old and lame?  Perhaps.  Sure I justified it to myself… it’s only $4 … it’s so lame it’s cool…   all true, but the real truth is I wanted this album.

If you don’t know what this album is, then you should just give up and go back to your Nickelback and Dance mix 91 CD.  Go ahead, beat it!  Get out of here!  We don’t want your kind around here.

Not there best, to be frank I think it’s a weak effort, but their dual song “Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love” track is one of the best things they’ve ever written, and surprisingly it was written after listening to a lot of Arcade Fire.

Don’t judge me.

I’ve spoken to a lot of people that don’t particularly like Metric’s last release Fantasies.  Those people are retarded.

If you’re a fan of Grandaddy like myself, then you have to pickup Jason Lytle’s first solo album.

I’ve never been a big Marley fan.  But this best of LP was on sale at Vinyl Diner and I snapped it up.  I’ve been listening to it straight for a week now.  Hooked.
